Pieter Botha

Pieter started working at Modena in 2017 using the Faro Focus to capture reality. He has scanned all over South Africa, going as far as Ethiopia, Cameroon, and Lesotho. His scanning range is varied, scanning just about anything, from cars to buildings, oil rigs and everything involving mining, both above and underground.

No job is too big or too small to him and he’s often quipped “it’s all fun and games until someone misses a scan” … adding to that “I’m having a lot of fun!” A gaming fan and animal lover, who enjoys whipping up a feast on the weekends, he excels at Faro Scene and Autodesk recap software and the devices he uses for scanning include the Faro Focus range and Faro Freestyle 2 Handheld scanner.
